Founded in 1984, The Showtime Singers are one of Aberystwyth's oldest amateur dramatics societies!

 

As a 'town and gown' society we welcome both student and non-student members, ensuring a wide spread of ages and of dramatic experience. We try to alternate between Gilbert and Sullivan operettas and other musicals. 

 

Over the past fifteen years we have performed shows such as Sweeney Todd, The Boyfriend, Calamity Jane and Kiss me Kate as well as light operas such as Ruddigore. We also perform concerts during the summer to raise funds for the society, and are involved in numerous charity events throughout the year.
